King of the Grill

I am my husbands's BIGGEST fan!  Happy Father's Day Dave!

Just a funny story behind the fan - when I was pregnant and very sick, not able to get up myself,  it was a hot summer night in the apartment we were living in.  I rolled over to my hubby and said "Could you please turn on the fan?"  He  mumbled a little, obvious that he didn't hear me, I repeated myself....a FEW times - till finally I was practically  - - okay, really - - yelling  "THE FAN!"  Dazed and confused, woken from a deep sleep, he didn't know what I was asking.  "You know, the thing that goes whirl, whirl and blows cool air on us?  go turn the with on so we can be cool - THE FAN!"  It has been a standing joke ever since....we never quite say "fan" in a normal tone of voice..."THE FAN!"

I AM your biggest fan Dave - love you lots!!!

Mini Fun

If you have followed me forever, you will know that I am drwn to things that are mini.    I love this mini toolbox!  It would be fun for dads but I do think that the little guys would want them back to play with!  Ha!  Alphamom's directions here.

Chocolate anyone?

We are seeing those paper lips and mustaches at photo booths and as party favors a lot lately,  but I think these colored chocolate ones take the cake!  Vintage Confections made these ones.  They would be fun for any little boys party... or for the big boys, Father's Day is coming!
